The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Ibrahim Gusau, has confirmed that the new Super Eagles coach will be unveiled before the African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament in February.
Gusau’s assurance will come as a relief to Nigerian football fans, who have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of a new coach for the national team.
The NFF has been searching for a replacement for former coach Jose Peseiro, who parted ways with the federation last year.
With the CHAN tournament just around the corner, Gusau’s confirmation that a new coach will be named before the competition begins will give the team a much-needed boost.
The CHAN tournament, which features national teams consisting of players from their respective domestic leagues, is scheduled to take place in February 2025.
