The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed that the draw ceremony for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will take place at the prestigious Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat, Morocco, on Monday, January 27, 2025.
This highly anticipated event will mark the beginning of the 35th edition of Africa’s premier football competition, featuring 24 qualified teams divided into six first-round groups.
The top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the Round of 16.
The AFCON 2025 finals are scheduled to run from December 21, 2025, to January 16, 2026, with Côte d’Ivoire defending their title as champions.
