Nigerian international Olisa Ndah’s injury woes have dealt a significant blow to his club and country. Orlando Pirates confirmed the defender will miss the remainder of the year due to a tibia fracture, Centerkick.com reports.
Ndah, suffered the injury in a September 24 Premiership clash with Polokwane City. This setback will keep him out of Orlando Pirates’ Carling Black Label Cup opener against Magesi FC, Super Eagles’ 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Benin and Rwanda in November 2024.
The central defender has been sidelined since the injury, missing key matches including the MTN8 final against Stellenbosch FC.
Prior to his injury, Ndah played nine matches, scoring one goal. He joined Orlando Pirates in 2021 after helping Akwa United win the league title.
This long-term injury will test Orlando Pirates’ defensive depth and impact Nigeria’s Super Eagles lineup.
